The scrambled eggs at breakfast were so good, they might be the best I've ever had! I loved relaxing in the cozy lounge and enjoying the lovely garden area. If you’re on the shorter side, you might find the bathroom mirror a touch high, but that’s a small thing compared to the overall experience. 😊

Excellent hotel with great wi-fi, free parking, and a lovely lounge area. On my first stay, staff helped me find my lost ID, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this cute spot!

Our stay was fantastic! We loved the cozy lounge area and enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden with a cup of tea while taking in the scenery. The only tiny thing was a slightly pushy recommendation for spicy ketchup at breakfast, but it didn't spoil our time at all. 🌼

Breakfast hit all the right notes! The Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs was a taste of heaven. the honesty bar's chilled drinks made unwinding a joy. What a gem of a stay!
If I'm being picky, the basin's water pressure wasn't the best for kettle filling, but the shower pressure was spot on and kept everything flowing smoothly!

I had a fantastic stay with breathtaking views over the park and Derwent Water just a short stroll away from my room, and the breakfast offered a wonderful variety that kept me fueled for my weekend explorations in this charming town.

missingWrote a review on 05 Junmountain viewshonesty bargreat breakfastawkward sink
The room featured breathtaking mountain views, making it an eyeful right out of bed. The honesty bar offering chilled drinks and snacks added a touch of convenience to the stay.
Noteworthy were the low gable ceilings in room 19. a friendly heads-up would’ve prevented a few head bumps. The rainfall shower’s pressure left much to be desired, and it took a bit too long to heat up, leading to moments of frustration during my stay. The awkward sink design made filling the kettle a hassle, which is not ideal first thing in the morning. finding the car park initially presented some confusion, but after a moment, it wasn’t a big deal.
